This is the 4th full length release by Eddie Gumucio with Lou Whitney and The Studio and the 1st with The Electrics with Nimmo, Datema & Carroll. The album chronicles many songs from the late michyksaseal, Gumucio/Henderson & The Electrics eras. Though it is a collection of new and old songs, the later ones find their way recorded for the 1st time and have aged well like a fine wine. Long time fans of the Gumucio catalog would probably not recognize some of the older songs due to the care and finesse that The Electrics have brought in their artistic interpretation of the songs.
Collectively, though some of the songs are well traveled, the album has a very contemporary left of center vibe and plays as a cohesive end to end showcase in its story.
